The Link between Social Media and Drug/Alcohol Abuse
A recent article in The Fix discusses a similar compulsion with social media that alcoholics have in regards to drinking. A few of the problems are stalking people they know and don’t know, spending hours looking into other people’s lives, and comparing themselves to these people. The research shows that this obsessive behavior is more common in alcoholics/addicts than “normies”, imagine that!
There is hope and the article talks about some of the options available. This includes praying to your Higher Power to take away the obsession, it worked with drinking and drugging didn’t it??
