Look! It’s our Logo in Real Life!

Ok, not exactly but pretty close!!  Alison B., in Discharge Planning at La Hacienda, took this picture one day as she was walking up to Serenity Hill!!

Good Morning Monday!  Hope you all had a nice weekend.  We are looking forward to another miracle filled day at La Hacienda.  Here is Casa del Sol where a few case managers office and groups meet.  One of the great things about La Hacienda is it is spread out across 40-acres.  You are not stuck in one building trudging to classes, groups and meetings.  It is a very healing and therapeutic environment with fresh Hill Country air, sunshine (especially these days), and nature.  When someone is out of their environment (comfort zone) it is more likely that they will be open to new ideas and healing.

When I was in the Houston office, I received many calls about admitting patients into La Hacienda.  So many times the family was already thinking ahead to what happens when their loved one discharges from treatment.  The good news is that they do not have to figure it all out then or by themselves.  La Hacienda has a team of Continuing Care Coordinators.  This picture shows where you can find Louis, Alison and Don on campus.
